Top Pick of Yoga Studios in Mlaga
Mlaga has a thriving Yoga culture and some top practitioners. It’s an ideal way to reduce stress and diversify that Spanish holiday experience.
It sometimes comes as a surprise to holidaymakers that Mlaga is home to a major and thriving Yoga tradition.
The other local traditions are well known. Yes, this city is marvellous for food, culture, flamenco and of course, the inevitable sun and beaches. Yet on a ‘get away from it all’ holiday where the emphasis is on stress-relief, knowing that there are some nearby Yoga centres will be an attractive prospect.
Why Yoga?
If you’re already familiar with Yoga, then you won’t need to ask this question!
If you’re thinking about trying it though, the benefits are now almost universally accepted. They can include for some major improvements in health and vitality, as well as emotional balance. Others claim that it also offers what they term “spiritual peace”, though that latter may vary in its nature from one participant to another.
It’s certainly worth trying, and in Mlaga you’ll find lots of places that will be willing to help you discover this ancient tradition.

How to Get There
Mlaga is a major city and its airport is served by a huge number of airlines from the UK and elsewhere around the world. It is possible to take a train from (or via) Madrid or arrive by sea on a cruise, though these remain relatively minor routes in terms of visitor percentages overall.
The town centre is only about 15-25 minutes from the airport, subject to traffic conditions.
Comfortable pre-bookable airport transfer taxis from Mlaga Airport are available to speed you quickly and comfortably to the city centre or elsewhere locally. Pre-booking is highly advisable because, with 10-12 months of good weather, Andalusia is very popular with visitors for much of the year. That results in an often very busy airport, so being met by your own pre-booked taxi from Mlaga Airport can be a hugely welcoming start to your holiday here.
Don’t forget that, if you are arriving via train or boat, your transfer vehicle can meet you there as well!
